taken 12 years ago, near to Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England

Stone Mill, Trowbridge
Stone Mill, Trowbridge
Stone built factory on or near the site of mediaeval mill associated with Trowbridge Castle that later became a fulling mill. Stone mill was originally water driven and later extended with 1819 built 36 horsepower Boulton & Watt beam engine. The mill is practically touching the large Shires shopping complex but it is possible to get a sympathetic angle.
