The footpath leads to the big hide on Long Pond.

Originally gravel pits, Langford Lakes was purchased by the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust in 2001 and turned into a nature reserve. The 17 hectare reserve consists of three lakes and a stretch of the River Wylye.
