Theatre Royal, Peter Street, Manchester
A distinguished composition with a portico of mighty Corinthian columns crowned by an elegant arch. Pevsner describes it as "one of the best examples of theatre architecture surviving anywhere in England from the first half of the C19". It was built in 1845 to the designs of Irwin & Chester. Grade II listed.
It is now a nightclub.
