Sea cliffs at Cowbar
Sea cliffs at Cowbar
This is typical of this section of coast, high sea cliffs that drop steeply to the sea and offer no access at high tide. Beyond, the cliffs at Boulby go even higher, to over 200 metres. Erosion has caused the coastal path to be diverted inland in this area.
