Cowbar Nab
Cowbar Nab
Cowbar Nab is a large outcrop of sandstone to the north and west of Staithes Beck and harbour, protecting it from the full force of the North Sea. A breakwater has been extended eastwards from the cliff, with lots of irregular rocks placed to dissipate the force of incoming water.
