SK0247 : Froghall bridge

taken 7 years ago, near to Froghall, Staffordshire, Great Britain

Froghall bridge
Froghall bridge
The bridge is grade 2 listed (List Entry Number 1374662). The official listing describes it as an 18th century briodge over the river Churnet, with a 19th century extension across the railway. The location of the bridge presumably determined the location of Froghall station (foreground) which is now part of the Churnet Valley Railway.
