Stornoway - 1981
Stornoway, Lewis War Memorial.
The memorial consists of a tower, erected on a hilltop on the northern outskirts of Stornoway. The memorial plaques were removed from the interior of the tower due to the effects of water ingress, which made the tower unsafe to enter. They are now mounted on blocks of Lewisian gneiss, arranged in a part circle outside and below the tower.
