Royal Sussex County Hospital
The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton was originally built in 1828 and was designed by Charles Barry (1795-1860), hence the name of the main building being the Barry Building. He later became the architect of the Houses of Parliament.

The Jubilee Building was added in 1887 and the Millennium Wing was added in 2000.

The hospital provides general, specialist and tertiary services, including Cancer Services (Sussex Cancer Centre), Cardiac (heart) Surgery, Maternity Services, Renal (kidney) Services, Intensive Care for Adults and Intensive Care for new born babies.
