ST3282 : Coastal path - Uskmouth

Coastal path - Uskmouth
Coastal path - Uskmouth
The path between the Severn Estuary and the reclaimed industrial site established in part to compensate for the loss of habitat resulting from the development of Cardiff Bay. As the reserve comprises reed beds and waterways it doesn't actually replace any lost habitat though the reed beds are important for many species that would not otherwise be found here. Both the old coal fired (to the right) and the newer gas powered stations can be seen in the far distance.
