taken 12 years ago, near to Erchless Castle, Highland, Scotland

Former manse, Erchless
Former manse, Erchless
This was once the Church of Scotland manse. It looks like it has been disused for quite a while, the windows are boarded up, and the surroundings and driveway are rather overgrown with trees and bushes.
It may have been associated with the church nearby: NH4040 : Old church, near Erchless

It was built circa 1880 in the style of Alexander Ross, and is a Category B listed building, see the Historic Scotland report: LinkExternal link
