TQ1279 : The Crescent, Southall

taken 7 years ago, near to Southall, Ealing, Great Britain

The Crescent, Southall
The Crescent, Southall
Late Victorian terraced housing. The continuous sharp curve must result in some awkward corners in these houses. Large scale maps show that the gardens behind become exceedingly narrow. Beyond are the water tower and gasholder, the latter being an important visual marker for planes approaching Heathrow.
