Salterns Way at New Barn
Salterns Way at New Barn
The route of Salterns Way is about 12 miles long and runs between Chichester and the coast at West Wittering. The Way dates from 2005 and is sometimes spelt with an apostrophe. This part of the route is marked as a public footpath on my 2004 OS Explorer map. Hence it is yet another instance of the powers that be inflicting cyclists on walkers' paths. (See my rant about similar mischief in Devon at LinkExternal link .)
