Hayward's Building, Deansgate, Manchester
Hayward's Building, Deansgate, Manchester
An elaborate facade with much finely-carved detail. The first floor has large paired arched windows, and all the windows have extravagant and slightly eccentric decoration (SJ8398 : Detail of Hayward's Building, Deansgate, Manchester). Etched into the ground floor arches are the words, "T. HAYWARD & Co. GLASS & CHINA". Built c1877 by Corbett, Son & Brooke. Grade II listed.
Now a pub at the ground floor.
