Ford's Foundry 7 January 2012 (5)
This is the long arm of a tracked hydraulic machine equipped to take apart the steelwork of the foundry buildings, framed in the background. The implement on the end of the arm is seen in SP3165 : Ford's Foundry 7 January 2012 (6). The machine was just too big to get into one photograph from the limited viewpoints.
Squibb is a leading demolition and recycling company that grew from the clearance of World War II bomb damage in the east end of London.
