NT6930 : Approaching Roxburgh

Approaching Roxburgh
Approaching Roxburgh
The road enters the village between the buttresses of railway bridges. The first bridge carried the Jedburgh branch, and the second bridge was the Kelso Branch, linking Kelso to the Waverley Line.

There were flowering snowdrops beneath one of the buttresses. Earliest I have ever seen them.
