Sculpture centrepiece in the garden of remembrance at Denton SJ9295 : Remembrance Garden.

The sculpture, Broken Sword, is by Paul Margetts of Forging Ahead LinkExternal link and it was unveiled in 1995. It consists of an outer pyramidal frame containing poppies growing upwards into a sword that surmounts the frame. The tip of the sword is broken off and placed across the blade to form a cross.
