The burn comes down from the slopes of Stob Ban and runs past the Lairig Leacach bothy. Although a Munro, Stob Ban is 200m lower than Stob Choire Claurigh on the Grey Corries ridge resulting in this contributor, at the end of a long and very hot traverse of the ridge from Glen Nevis, wordering where the last Munro had gone. A brew up beside the lochan on the bealach between the main ridge and Stob Ban refreshed both mind and body resulting in a saunter up the latter to round of a perect day in the hills.
