NM9836 : Gorge, Glen Esragan

taken 7 years ago, 4 km from Bonawe, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

Gorge, Glen Esragan
Gorge, Glen Esragan
Rugged scenery to the west of Glen Etive. The Esragan has recently had a hydroelectric plant installed. This is a 950kW run of river scheme and is served by a new road which leaves the B845 at this point.

West of the B845 is a gentler landscape of rough grassland on basalt hills.
