SX7173 : Build-up of trees, West Webburn River

taken 7 years ago, near to Buckland in The Moor, Devon, Great Britain

Build-up of trees, West Webburn River
Build-up of trees, West Webburn River
An island splits the river here, a little above Lizwell Meet, and that seems to be the reason for this tangle of trunks and branches wedged against the rocks. This is in Town Wood, in the depths of a wooded ravine. What looks like open country in the background is the sunlit side of the valley just northeast of the river junction ahead.
