Foxhunter's form was impressive by the time he died, having won some 78 or so various medals, awards, prizes and events in the equestrian world. However it was Sir Harry Llewellyn's foresight in spotting him as a six year old and his insight in developing such a naturally gifted horse that made their partnership so special and lasting. Their achievements still stand today as worthy of emulation. To surpass them would need another Foxhunter, and another Sir Harry - and they don't come along very often.
