Southern slopes of Beinn Sgaillinish
Southern slopes of Beinn Sgaillinish
Beinn Sgaillinish is a minor hill of Jura; it lies between the island's east coast and the A846. The image was recorded at the end of a rib of rock extending southwards from the hill's trig point, the view being over the southern slopes to Loch Tarbert which bites deeply into the island from the western side almost making Jura two islands. The major peaks in the distance are of course the Paps of Jura.
