OK, so I have had the rain, the rhodies, the Sitka spruce. Worse the Sitka spruce that lies down on the job (more of that to come). How about a wee dash of quicksand?

The sand has been deposited on a slurry of peat and leaf litter by erosion down the furrows that foresters used to use. The result is an unholy mess where you can have hours of fun playing "how low can you go". All we need now are a few landmines. Well they do have weapons of mass destruction down the loch.
