The maritime ante-room to the Humber Dock, now Hull Marina. On the left of the picture is a 4" anti-submarine gun recovered by members of the Hull Branch BSAC on 12 August 1984 from the wreck of the SS Greltoria, a merchant navy steamer torpedoed and sunk by a German U-boat on her maiden voyage three miles off Flamborough Head on 27 September 1917.
