Snowed moorland along White Edge
Snowed moorland along White Edge
White Edge is the broad moorland ridge separating the valleys of Middlehope Burn and Rookhope Burn, both of which are tributaries of the River Wear. The view is along the ridge to the north-west where the ground rises very gradually to a high point of 612m at Burtree Fell, beyond the wall line in the centre of the image.
