Underpass east of Bay's Leap Farm
Underpass east of Bay's Leap Farm
A big new agricultural building has appeared here (on the right), looking like a giant umbrella. There is a similar building in Dumfries & Galloway NX6445 : New style of farm building
The livestock building has an internal diameter of 30 metres, and can house between 110-150 cattle depending upon the internal layout and size of the animals.
The roof is made from a tensile PVC-coated polyester fabric stretched over a galvanised steel frame. The buildings are designed and produced by Roundhouse Building Solutions Ltd. based in Barnard Castle LinkExternal link
