TA1082 : Clifftop above The Wyke

taken 7 years ago, near to Gristhorpe, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Clifftop above The Wyke
Clifftop above The Wyke
Looking across The Wyke to the cliffs and reefs on the far side. The cliffs here are similar to those further towards Filey, but the surface capping of boulder clay is less prominent as the cliff is higher and capping thinner,. The vertical section is of Jurassic limestones and grits. Scarborough can be seen in the distance.
