29-31 Dale Street, Manchester
Large red warehouse by W. & G. Higginbottom, 1909. White stone bands were used to liven things up a little; it's quite lively above the cornice too. Grade II listed.
The listing records, rather surreally, that it "was occupied in 1905 by umbrella manufacturers and the Belgian and Congo Free States Consulate". I think it's now come down in the world and serves as offices for trendy "Northern Quarter"-style enterprises.
