Sevendale House, Stevenson Square, Manchester
Very big and violently red warehouse built for I.J. & G. Cooper Ltd by John Bowden in 1906. Shaped gables, the one at the corner (of Dale and Lever Streets) with a bell-shaped pediment. The ground floor is red sandstone and terracotta is in the mix as well, red, naturally. There is a touch of Art Nouveau about some of the window details. Grade II listed.
Now in multiple occupancy - shops and exhibition space, judging by the signs - the upper floors looking largely vacant.
