Alton Line

The Alton line leaves the South Western Main Line at Pirbright Junction near Brookwood and terminates in Alton. The line opened between Farnham and Alton in 1852, connecting to Pirbright Junction in 1870. The line connects to the Watercress Line (steam) at Alton.
