Temporary Motorway at Fairburn 2005
Temporary Motorway at Fairburn 2005
During the construction of the new A1M Motorway at Fairburn in 2005, a length of roadway connected the old and new roads. This then allowed the old stretch of the road entering the village to be dug up and new bridges and roads to be constructed eventually connecting it to the Holmfield Interchange at Ferrybridge.
