Old and new Fosse Way
Old and new Fosse Way
The minor road from the A3400 meets the A429 Fosse Way at this road junction. The Fosse Way once ran along the lane to the left of the image to cross the River Stour on a Medieval bridge. The old bridge has been by-passed and the Fosse Way now crosses the river on a modern concrete bridge.
