East Footbridge, Shewington
East Footbridge, Shewington
This is one of two footbridges over tributaries of the Shiel Burn at Shewington. The bridges are very narrow and are now in a sad state of repair. They predate the wider bridges constructed to take the farm track to Shewington at the time of the Enclosures.
