River Clyde: course correction?
River Clyde: course correction?
A "hole" in the bank where the river has changed course. The current is flowing into the bank and is eroding a bank.NS7653 : River Clyde On the opposite side, silt is being deposited. This could lead to a new meander being formed. Over time the river would have wandered all over its flood plain.

The distant water on the right is flood water on fields, left behind after the river level dropped.
