Platform Hayburn Wyke Station
Platform Hayburn Wyke Station
This was the second station built at Hayburn Wyke, the original station was beyond the group stood in the distance. this was built in 1900.The stones protruding from the face and broken off, were i think to support the large platform edge paver which came out beyond the face. There is a photo of the station in Peter Tuffrey's excellent book, "North Yorkshire Railway Stations"
