Knocknaba crofts
Knocknaba crofts
The outline of this now ruinous settlement is shown clearly on the Scotland OS six inch, 1843-1882 map, Bartholomew's half inch, 1926-35, and is visible on Google Earth. The small crofts in this area were agriculturally 'improved' in the late nineteenth century and their occupants cleared from the land.
