SU5794 : The Abingdon road

taken 7 years ago, near to Dorchester, Oxfordshire, Great Britain

The Abingdon road
The Abingdon road
This used to be the main road till the bypass was built, now it is access to and from the village. The building on the left is the Old Plough public house which is now closed and a private house, the benchmark which was on there seems to be lost. On the right I always remember seeing a Rolls Royce parked on the corner belonging to a Mr Pratt who owned a garage in the village and used to live here.
