Queenstown Road station
Queenstown Road station
Queenstown Road station was opened on 1 November 1877, by the London & South Western Railway, and was originally named Queen's Road (Battersea). Queen's Road (Battersea) was renamed Queenstown Road (Battersea) in 1980, but now appears to just be called Queenstown Road. It has seven tracks but only three platforms, one of which is disused. The disused platform is to the right here whilst the two in use are numbered 2 and 3. This view is from Platform 2. The bridge ahead carries trains on their way from Victoria to Clapham Junction.
