SE4450 : Ainsty Beck

taken 7 years ago, near to Bickerton, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Ainsty Beck
Ainsty Beck
Tiny stream that meanders across the vale before joining the Nidd. Viewed from Ainsty Bridge, which is named on the OS map, is on an old route between Bickerton and Cowthorpe, and is also on a parish boundary, so one might expect an old stone structure. The bridge turns out to be merely a concrete culvert, which is disappointing.
