Church of Saint Michael, Eaton Hastings
Church of Saint Michael, Eaton Hastings
A mainly 13th century Grade II* listed parish church, restored in the late 19th century. It has stained glass windows by Morris & Co. after designs by Edward Burne-Jones, William Morris, and Ford Madox Brown. The two chest tombs of the Kinch family in front of the porch are Grade II listed, as is the Faringdon Tomb, a bronze cast of a woman 3 metres to the west of the church. When I visited, the snowdrops were out.
