SD6198 : Roadside wall with pen beside A685

taken 7 years ago, near to Lowgill, Cumbria, Great Britain

Roadside wall with pen beside A685
The tiny pen is presumably arranged so that a farm vehicle can enter the enclosure to the north of the A685 with a gate always being closed between the field and the road. The construction materials seem to be unnecessarily hefty - old railway sleepers. Grayrigg Pike is the summit at the top of the rising ground.
