Scawdmans Hill
Scawdmans Hill
A 573m top at the northern end of the Coulter Fells. On the Peeblesshire side of the fence (right) there is what looks like a track, it is heather exposed by a quadbike which passed over the hill earlier in the day. Corrugations on the Lanarkshire side may be due to the past use of a trail bike. Motorbikes were briefly used by hill farmers but soon made way for the non destructive fat tyred quadbikes.
