The Cutty Sark
The Cutty Sark
This picture was taken in 2007 before the restoration work began. when completed before the 2012 Olympics, the hull will have been raised by 3 metres, which will provide the proper support for the hull, as resting on the keel was causing it to expand, and will allow a visitors' viewing centre to be opened beneath it. A blue glass covering over the centre will make her appear to be 'floating' on water.
