SD7176 : Small ruin on Scales Moor

Small ruin on Scales Moor
Small ruin on Scales Moor
This tiny structure is too small to be a proper building. Its location, not far from an isolated curve of drystone wall, makes me think that it may have been a simple shelter for a shepherd. Across the dale, Ingleborough catches the last of the sun - soon after this picture was taken it sank behind a thick band of cloud and the light was lost.
