Wakeners' Wells
Wakeners' Wells
The middle of the three ponds on a cold day. Although it was sunny the sun was struggling to make an impact here.
Let's go for the original spelling of the name of the ponds, built in the 17th by the Hooke family, perhaps to act as hammer ponds for the iron industry but never used for that purpose.
