Wansfell ridge
Wansfell ridge
To the east of Ambleside lies Wansfell; its ridge undulates between two main tops, Wansfell Pike and the higher Baystones. The photograph was taken near the midpoint of the ridge from a knoll looking northwards across the lowest point.
The snowed mountains in the distance are Caudale Moor, Thornthwiate Crag, Froswick, Ill Bell and Yoke.
