SU6100 : Underneath the Bridge

Underneath the Bridge
Underneath the Bridge
There aren't many photos around taken from this angle: directly beneath the opening bridge itself. Even back then, as a young lad - I was 13, am 17 now (hence my use of my college email account) - I seemed to possess a knack of doing what those around me didn't.

I don't see why this position can't make a few good shots though - from a photographer's perspective, as well as a geographer (both in that I study geography at A-level and that I'm submitting this to Geograph...fits nicely, I think), there is much work I see, that could be done here.

A lot of exploration of technique is there to be had, I feel, and, as I said before, during this early period I found myself using the Lake and the bridge as a tool to improve my own photography.

Still...I can't lie. I was scared, on this occasion, that the bridge might spontaneously decide it was going to collapse and subject me to a horrible, agonising death.

Well, you think those things when you're 13...don't you?
