Allenton Market – This is a traditional open air market held in Allenton in Derby. Allenton Market has around 90 stalls with a wide variety of different products providing a bit of something for everyone. The walkways of the market are covered so rain will not stop play for market goers.
Allenton Market is also the site for a weekly Flea market. For those people unaware of what a flea market is, it is basically a cross between a regular open-air market and a car boot sale. Stalls there are set up by both traders and members of the public selling both new and used goods and buyers can pick up almost anything from clothes to vehicles, sofas and consumables.
