Dead Gannet
Dead Gannet
This one year old bird has mistaken a short piece of rope for a fish, dived at it and managed to effectively splice its bill shut. It clearly couldn't dislodge the rope so death from starvation was then inevitable. A sad reminder of the effects our waste has.
