The road out of Stanhope
The road out of Stanhope
The B6278 from Stanhope to Edmundbyers near Weatherhill Engine. A cold frosty morning, snow clings to the north facing side of Weardale opposite and fog lies in the valley bottom. The head of the valley of the Heathery Burn can be seen below the railings.
