A disused quarry north of Harlow Hill now used by Harlow Hill Gun Club for clay pigeon shooting. The ruined buildings on the hilltop above the quarry were part of a World War II wireless facility for RAF Ouston NZ0768 : Hilltop above Crag Plantation. It was defended by a keyhole-shaped pillbox located on a promontory above the quarry face NZ0768 : WW2 Pillbox at RAF Ouston (just visible with the trees of Crag Plantation behind) and other pillboxes in the surrounding area, including one at the foot of the quarry face NZ0768 : Pillbox in a Disused Quarry
